Automatic Fire Extinguishing System has functions to detect fire, track and extinguish it automatically. A non-contact sensor watches surrounding temperature, controlling angles of two motors with 2 degrees of freedom (Fig.1) When a portion of high temperature is found (Fig.2) , the system judges it as fire, a solenoid valve is turned ON and water is sprayed on it. Two motors are controlled to track area of high temperature until the fire has been put out. Since this system can extinguish fire autonomously, it will be applied to fire-fighting equipment or products to be related to safeguards against fire.
